Although this year’s Digital Humanities Summer Institute in Victoria, BC has been postponed until 2021, several of the workshops planned for the weekend between the two weeks are moving forward in virtual format.
We put out a call for participation earlier this year for the #Right2Left workshop, focusing on digital work in cultures where some of the languages are written from right to left such as Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, Urdu and Syriac.  We have already accepted a number of participants, but we have room for a few more.
Details of the exact format are forthcoming, but it will feature pre-recorded 10-15 minute talks from the already accepted participants by May 15th.  There will be an open discussion of the papers during a scheduled time on the weekend, most likely in the form of a short Twitter presentation and discussion.
