This year’s Middle Eastern Studies Association (MESA) Annual Conference will feature a Global Academy Special Session for Global Academy scholars to present their research and serve as discussants on two panels. Panelists include Program in Islamic Law Global Academy Scholars (2020-2021) Dr. Masoud Noori who will speak on, “Islam and Human Rights: What Could/Should be Understood from the Qur’an?” alongside Dr. Issam Eido as a discussant.
